Peter Björkborg

Peter Björkborg is the Head of Energy Transition at Stena Teknik, which provides technical resources for all business units within the Stena Shipping and Offshore group. He was instrumental in the development of the Orbit platform, from its original incarnation as "Stena Orbit" through to its  current features and functionalities.

Peter brings seven years experience from tanker shipping, working with business transformation and decarbonization. "Shipping, just like many other industries, is going through a time of fundamental change, where we need to reevaluate what we do and how we do it. The energy transition brings us great challenges, but history has shown us that overcoming big challenges can unleash equally big opportunities. And in an increasingly digital world, we have better tools than ever to do so. As Head of Energy Transition, my job is to help Stena navigate, and develop the transition together with creative and likeminded people in the company and in the industry"
