Meet the Team: Michael Pignataro

At OrbitMI, it’s our maritime intelligence platform that our customers know, but it’s the fantastic people that make us, well, us!

Next up in our continuing blog series on members of the OrbitMI team is Michael Pignataro, our Director of Sales and Marketing Operations. Michael is involved in building and maintaining the OrbitMI website, managing the CRM, designing presentations, and overseeing email marketing. 

Fun Facts

·Michael loves music, and enjoys playing guitar and drums

·Since the beginning of the pandemic, he's began playing pool as a nightly hobby

 

·He enjoys playing golf in his spare time

 

Primary role at OrbitMI

Michael joined Orbit in May 2019, after working as a sales engineer at a technology startup for five years. After working with CEO Ali Riaz for a period, he joined the OrbitMI team and has been able to see it grow from the ground up.

When asked what he likes most about working at OrbitMI, he said that he enjoys working in the maritime industry, as well as turning product concepts into presentations, learning new things on the job, and being able to work on a wide variety of different projects.
