Meet the Team: Ryan Dooley

Next up in our continuing blog series on members of the OrbitMI team is Ryan Dooley, our Director of Business Development. Ryan is involved in sales and business operations, and analyzes existing processes in order to make improvements and form new strategies.

Fun Facts

·Prior to working at OrbitMI, Ryan worked for a company that specialized in tracking maritime data.

·In his free time, Ryan enjoys playing golf, recording podcasts, and performing as a volunteer DJ.

Primary role at OrbitMI

Ryan has been with OrbitMI since February 2022. In his role, he helps guide the sales process, meets with prospective customers and partners, optimizes business strategies, and makes up one half of Ship Talk, the official OrbitMI podcast. 

When asked what he likes most about working at OrbitMI, Ryan said that he loves the collaborative nature of Orbit, and wants to work with anyone who is interested in making data sharing more accessible. Ryan enjoys the continually evolving maritime landscape, and loves working with the wide array of diverse people found across the industry.
